A few weeks ago in Illinois we had flowers coming up because of the warm weather, now we are having an ice storm. Appreciate it now

The weather here is so mixed up that we have trees blooming in January. I think this is a flowering cherry tree, but am not sure. I saw this near a shop I was at and thought it was beautiful.
