in the garden...

the garden is winding down.  i've brought in what i could.  the lettuce has been growing very slowly and i'm hoping it continues to grow.  this is only the second time i've grown lettuce and this batch is from the seeds from the spring growth.

it is wonderfully cold here this morning.  i love winter.  sweaters, blankets, fires...just all things cozy make me happy.

the wind whipped through here last night bringing this cold front.  it was wild, lying in bed listening to it whistle through the trees...

aren't camellia blossoms just beautiful?

i keep thinking i'll take that bush out (it's in a bad place that blocks a lot of my space) but then it blooms and i just don't know if i can part with it...

well...i'm off to piddle around the house.  time to start taking down the halloween decor, i suppose...

how is your garden growing?

love, kisses & magical wishes...

That is a beautiful flower.
Things seemed to stop growing here a month or two ago. I am sure on a sunny day things still grow a bit.... but is is more of a time for energy to go deep within the plant to get through winter. 23F degrees outside at the moment. But should get up to 50F. Lovely day to you.
