This on is a causeway between the lagoon and the ocean. The big boats on the left are Galeon I (barco verde) and Bucanero II (barco rojo). They are party boats that cruise around the Cancun shoreline at night. We didn't go out on those, but took a different boat from the same dock to spend a day at Isla Mujeres.

My dad and stepmum come home today from their yearly week in Cancun. I couldn't afford to go this year with all the other things going on. But, I've promised myself that I will go next year. I went two years in a row and now it has been two years since the last trip. I miss Cancun, the food...the people...the culture. Sigh...
