i keep falling... and falling... no matter how many different places i get raked to or piles i get swept up into, i take my punches, take my beatings and fall, farther and farther... i keep wondering where the bottom is... and just how far i have to fall before i find it...

Just so long as you don't end up as mulch, you're doing okay.
Thinking of you and sending warm wishes your way, hoping your autumn is over and healing will soon begin. I also have to say your photo is absolutely beautiful. And GO STEELERS this weekend!
I sincerely wish things were better for you.
I have a little story from a morning of my childhood. It was an angry day. I was in pain and had had such loss. I ran into the woods near my home and the rays of light were angling through the autumn leaves and the leaves fell and fell with the gusts of wind. I ran, tears falling punching at the wind trying to punch the leaves. Do you know it is impossible? They were faster, they touched my hands like it will be fine. I believe at this time that you have just realized your strength. You have just realized, though you thought you were falling, that you cannot be stronger than you are now. You just don't realize it. A leaf is a symbol for you. It is a talisman of adaptability, survival, and the indomitable way of the leaf spirits. I know you can see what you thought was your falling as your path. Change what needs changing. Grow anew when you have gathered strength from light and believe.
I'm sorry, Laura. This is really rough stuff. I dearly hope that you find the answers you need, and that you are on the road to healing. Keep the faith and endure...
