knitting progress

I've finally finished a knitting project. I finished my second pair of socks. I'm not really happy with how they turned out. I think one is actually shorter than the other, but I'm not about to try to fix it. :-)

I also have been working on my mum's socks, but I don't think I'll get them done by gift giving time. And, as if I didn't have enough yarn on sticks, I've started a simple k2p2 scarf in gray. I realized I don't have a basic color simple scarf to wear and I want one.

So, that has been my knitting update. I've been spending a lot of time playing with my new laptop. I finally copied my photos and documents from my wok laptop and now I just need to copy my music and iTunes stuff.

I'm off to let the beast out and then watch Prison Break.
Blessings,

The socks are pretty - what yarn did you use? Pattern?

The scarf will be simple and lovely. I'm a fan of simple!

Knitting is something I've not yet attempted. Maybe someday. Those socks look like just the right thing for this winter weather. Prison Break had another good episode. I never thought the show could continue on so long but the plot keeps thickening!

Sara - it is a pattern that my knitting teacher gave us. I don't think it is published anywhere.

Dracenea - I love Prison Break! I couldn't believe how much I loved it when it started and I'll be very sad when it ends, which it must eventually. :-)

I have it on my blog under my favorite shows. : ) I can't believe it's been on for four seasons already. Whoo hoo!

Pretty socks, love the colors! Personally I like a pair of socks that isn't TOO much the same--a little taller on one side looks cute to me for some reason! Nice scarf too...happy knitting!
