flying & swirling...

the 8th?  already?  time really is just flying, isn't it?

i realized a few days ago that i forgot to include the card for the collective for this month on my day 1 post.  i've been trying to get here to post it for several days.

finally...

october's card for the collective:

9 of swords: sleepless nights, frustrations, disappointments.  possible illness or night terrors.

it doesn't look to be an easy month, little frustrations may crop up that while small and seemingly insignificant, could add up to a larger problem or disagreement.  try to keep your cool and your focus. and remember that things always turn at some point.

there's been a lot going on and time just keeps swirling.  last month i went on a trip to south carolina and tybee island, ga.  it was an interesting trip as i was accompanying my mum to see friends.  we stayed in a house just off the beach.  it was a lovely house (though it did have a bit of a bug problem - eek!) and was just steps from the beach.

tybee island is just about 20 minutes from savannah so we spent an afternoon there, taking a trolley tour, doing a little shopping and having a lovely dinner.

yesterday, i had a little meet-up with some artistic neighbors.  we're starting a community arts group.  kind of like the old stitch n bitch.  we can work on whatever we like, just a few hours once a month.  it lets us get to know our neighbors a little more and is kind of fun.  we never did any arting yesterday, just chatted a lot and did some show and tell. i hope next month to actually spend some time arting.

tonight i go to open studio for another local group that i joined back in june.  i can't recall if i've talked about it here or not.  but i'm really loving it.  i wish we met more than once a month, but at least it is something.

that's all for now.  i need to get myself together for tonight.

have y'all been anywhere good this summer?

hope y'all are doing good.

love & kisses & magical wishes...

Oh dear, the dreaded "Nightmare Card." Keep a stiff upper lip, everyone!
