sometimes i follow along...

how does the time go by so very quickly?  i can't believe it has been 18 days since my last post.  i did not intend to be away that long.

but, i'm here now, so...

the photo is from my painting i did with Effy Wild in her almost weekly free YouTube series "Prayers to the Moon".  sometimes i follow along and sometimes i go my own way while we paint.  i am so easily distracted that i have trouble painting along.  anywho... at least i've been painting a little. there hasn't been a lot happening around here this month.  mostly just trying to stick to basics and figure out a few things.  

tomorrow is the aquarius new moon, an excellent time for intention setting. it's time to figure out what intentions i want to set for the future.

anyhoo, i just wanted to say hi!

right now...

right now...

the sun is spreading that odd golden light of winter over the limbs of the trees...

i can't seem to get warm.  my fingers and toes feel chilled in the bones even though it is 60 degrees (F) outside (and 68 in my house)...

i'm spending a lot of time on zillow, dreaming of a needed change...

 

earlier today...

a neighbor asked me about my art, and i was surprised and mortified.  she asked in front of the landscaping guys and i mumbled that i pretend to be... i need to think about that reaction...

 

yesterday...

i spent time with the art witches and it felt good...

i made my usual southern new years day meal, but just for me (and a plate for my mum). and now i think i have enough food to eat for a month that i can just reheat...

 

right now...

the sun is slowly receding and the light is changing...
